The first photo is before the procedure, the second is on the same day, and the third is the next day. I heard that everyone tends to swell more the next day, so I was a bit nervous. But surprisingly, I had almost no swelling, which was the most amazing part for me. Maybe it was because I received swelling injections or IV fluids? Anyway, I've never experienced my face puffing up like that.
Previously, I tried a thread lift at another clinic and thought, “This isn't for me,” so I completely dismissed the idea. I wasn’t sure about the effects, and it hurt a lot. I promised myself I wouldn’t do it again, but lately, I've been hearing so much about Miracle from others around me. The reviews and photos in the community looked so dramatically impressive that I thought, “Maybe I should give it another shot… just one last time,” and made an appointment.
I’m really scared of sedation anesthesia, so I had all kinds of worries until I got there. But once I entered the clinic, the front desk staff, the manager, and the surgical team were all really friendly, which eased my anxiety. They even cracked some jokes, so I felt more relaxed when I went in. The procedure preparations went smoothly, and the anesthesia kicked in… At other places, once you wake up from sedation, you feel dazed and dizzy for a while, but here, I opened my eyes in less than an hour and felt pretty clear-headed. I wasn’t completely refreshed, but I thought, “Hey, I’m feeling better than I expected!”
What I appreciated the most was that at the previous clinic I went to, they just sent me home right after the procedure, so I had no idea if the threads were properly placed or in what direction. But here, they took pictures during the procedure and showed me, saying, “The threads are placed like this,” which gave me a lot of confidence seeing how and where they were put in. It felt like I was part of the process, rather than just being told, “All done!”
When I got home, I couldn’t wash my face and looked in the mirror first… Wow, it really felt like my face had shrunk in half? I thought those reviews saying “your face becomes half” were exaggerations. But looking in the mirror, I found myself thinking the same thing: “Wait, my face is half too…?” Apart from a previous experience where my face lifted significantly for half a day after an Air Jet treatment, this was the first time I’d seen such a clear V-line, and honestly, it was a bit touching in that moment.
I was really worried about pain since reviews were so mixed. Some people said it hurt so much they couldn’t sleep, while others said it was more manageable than expected. The clinic provided basic antibiotics and two types of painkillers. They said, “Take this as a standard, and if it hurts, take this one as well.” I tend to be quite sensitive to pain, so even though I wasn’t in much pain, I took a painkiller before going to bed just in case. But it wasn’t painful enough to wake me up at all; it just felt like, “Oh, I had a procedure.” So, I didn’t end up taking the rest of the painkillers. Considering I usually can’t handle pain well, I think I managed quite well this time.
Right now, my biggest concern is the duration of the results… If it lasts around six months, I’d honestly want to do it twice a year. However, the price isn’t exactly cheap, so that’s a bit of a burden. Still, I feel that saving up for a solid thread lift is better than going for various laser lift treatments that leave me wondering if I’ve really done anything.
I’ve tried pretty much everything related to lifting. Ultherapy, Summer Lift, Tune Face, Titanium, InMode, post-liposuction care, facial liposuction… I’ve experienced quite a bit, but among what I’ve tried, I think this one has given me the most satisfaction.
