Maybe it’s because the surgeon was very meticulous, but the scars are hardly noticeable, and my eyes look as if they’ve always been this way. Lately, when I meet people, they all comment on how much brighter my expression looks and ask what I did, which gives me a bit of pride. My eyes look so much clearer than before, and I feel good every time I look in the mirror. Considering how anxious I was at the start, it really seems like I made the right choice.
