Many people have been asking where I got it done, so I thought I'd share. I only had my cheekbones done at Ailumi, and I didn’t touch anything else. The photos are just lightly filtered and have some skin corrections.
When I first consulted, they mentioned that the square jaw was more of an option, so I was a bit skeptical thinking, "Can I skip that?" But after reading reviews where everyone said just getting the cheekbones done was fine, I decided to trust Dr. Choi and go for it. After the surgery, when I looked in the mirror, I hardly saw any angular features on my face, which made me realize that’s why they said it wasn’t necessary to go for the square jaw. My whole face felt like it had shrunk, and I felt a sense of pride about it.
What's funny is that people around me keep saying, "Why do you look so pretty lately?" and "What did you do?" but they don't really know what exactly has changed. That’s the best part! It feels different, but it’s not obvious. I love that subtle change.
If I had gone for the square jaw, I might have looked even smaller, but honestly, I feel pretty satisfied with just the cheekbones. There were options for double chin liposuction and muscle tightening, but they didn’t strongly recommend those. Even now, I don’t feel like there’s any sagging. Sometimes I do wonder, "Would my jawline have been cleaner if I had done the muscle tightening too?" but that’s just a passing thought.
Anyway, if I end up worrying about my double chin later, I’ll probably go back to Dr. Choi at Ailumi. Having done it once, I think if I decide to do something again, that place will come to mind.
