I was just looking at the calendar and suddenly thought of something: it's already been 4 months since I had my Thermage and skin booster done? Time really flies!
I'm not usually the type to write reviews like this, but I thought I'd start recording my experiences. Every now and then, when I look back at what I've written, it’s a bit embarrassing but also strangely satisfying. At first, I really debated whether I should even write this down, but once I started, it seems like I just keep going. I’m not sure how many more times I’ll write, but I plan to jot down my thoughts whenever they come to me.
There are so many different types of lifting treatments out there. The reason I chose Thermage isn’t particularly grand; it was about six months after my Ultherapy treatment, and I thought, “Should I continue with some more care?” I went to my usual dermatologist for a consultation, and the doctor recommended 300 shots of Thermage, so I went with that. I was pleasantly surprised by the results, and it felt different from Ultherapy, which was fascinating.
Since then, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in elasticity, so I didn’t seek any additional lifting treatments. However, the issue is that my premenstrual syndrome suddenly worsened… Every time my period approaches, I break out in little bumps, and my skin’s condition becomes really unstable. Just yesterday, my skin was fine, but the next day it completely flipped, and this has become almost routine. Even trying various things at home didn’t seem to help much.
So, I ended up going back to the dermatologist and asked, “What should I do in this situation?” The doctor recommended a skin booster, suggesting skin botox, Benev, and exosomes. I was really torn about whether to go for it right away, but after about two months post-Thermage, I decided to proceed. Looking back, I’m glad I did.
Unlike lifting treatments, the effects of the skin booster show up relatively quickly, which I liked. The rough texture caused by excess oil and dead skin was greatly improved, and instead of an oily shine, I now have a subtle glow. Lately, I've been hearing a lot of compliments about how my skin looks better!
When I meet up with friends, they often say, “Why does your skin look so good these days?” It makes me feel really good inside, but I just casually say, “Oh, I’ve been getting some treatments.” It feels a bit awkward to openly express how happy I am about it.
Anyway, I really believe that, aside from those who are naturally blessed with good skin, the results reflect the care and attention you put into it. So, if I feel the effects starting to fade, I’m definitely open to getting more treatments. For now, I’m focused on maintaining this state as best as I can!
