I just wanted to share my experience for those considering thread lifting.
I used to be really stressed about my jawline. With a round jaw, I always struggled to find the right angle for photos… So, I tried various things like laser lifting and contour injections before, but the effects were only temporary, and honestly, I didn’t notice a big difference. I kept jumping from one thing to another… it was just a repeating pattern.
Then, a friend mentioned thread lifting to me. I thought, “Eh, it’s probably just like the others,” but after some searching, I found out that Apgujeong Miracle is quite famous for thread lifting. I looked through some reviews, and there were a lot of articles and photos. The results looked promising, so I decided to go for a consultation.
What surprised me during the consultation was that the director, upon seeing my face, immediately said, “You’re here because of your round jaw, right?” I was a bit taken aback since I hadn’t mentioned it. I wasn’t expecting much, so I thought I’d just listen and leave. However, the director showed me some reviews and seemed really confident while explaining everything, making me think, “Hmm, maybe this is worth believing.”
The vibe wasn’t about pushing for a lot of threads either; they said that the basic amount would be enough to see good results, which felt more ethical and built my trust. So, I decided to go ahead with the procedure right then and there.
The treatment was done under sedation, so I didn’t have to worry about pain, even though it was thread lifting. I don’t remember the process since I was asleep. When I checked the mirror afterward, I was surprised to see that there was hardly any bruising or swelling. The roundness I was concerned about had significantly reduced, and it gave me a nice, natural V-line that I really liked. It wasn’t overly lifted, and it had a subtle look, which I appreciated.
For a day or two after the procedure, I took it easy in my daily life. Honestly, it wasn’t difficult enough to even call it a recovery period. I think I could have gone out right away without it being noticeable. About a week later, the line started to look even sharper. Maybe the residual swelling had gone down, but at that moment, I thought, “Wow, this is the real deal.”
Now, everything has settled perfectly, and I’m maintaining the look I had right after the treatment. The director mentioned it would last over a year, so if I can hold out that long, I might go back to Apgujeong Miracle for a touch-up later.
