Even though I originally had double eyelids, my eyes didn't look very distinct, so it bothered me for a while. It felt like only about half of my pupils were visible, giving me an overall sleepy impression. Additionally, the distance between my eyes and eyebrows appeared close, making my facial expressions look a bit harsh. Therefore, instead of trying to solve the problem solely with my eyes, I started looking into other options. Through consultation, I decided to proceed with a forehead lift. After the surgery, I felt less of a habit of tensing my forehead when opening my eyes, so that was the first noticeable improvement. The visible range of my pupils has also widened compared to before, reducing the feeling of looking stifled. The space between my eyes and eyebrows also feels more relaxed, so I can feel my overall impression has shifted toward looking less intense. Now, I am no longer constantly self-conscious about specific areas like I used to, so I am going about my daily life with less pressure.
