I've always had this weird drooping of one side of my mouth when I smile or pronounce certain words... Whenever I take a picture, I always see that expression, and I look awkward for no reason. That was what bothered me the most. I thought it was just my facial expression, but during the consultation, the doctor told me that my lips were actually different lengths. Hearing that, I thought, "Oh, so that's why..." She explained that my lips are shorter than my eyes and nose, and that they were positioned on my face. She didn't just say, "Just fill it in here," but rather, she considered my lip shape and facial proportions and explained which direction the procedure should be done in, which was really nice. She also made my instructions very understandable. I had three procedures: lower lip lengthening, upper lip filler, and botox to the corners of my mouth. She told me beforehand that it would be difficult to achieve 100% asymmetry, but just slightly increasing the length of my lips and shifting the direction of the corners of my mouth made a huge difference. My mouth looked less stuffy than before, or maybe it felt more refreshed? Maybe that's why my round nose doesn't draw attention as much as it used to... I'm really satisfied with this. 🥹 The director explained that she could make my philtrum look shorter, but I told her that my philtrum is already quite short when I smile, and I really didn't like how my nose looked prominent. So I told her I wouldn't do that. When I told her what I didn't like, she took that into consideration, explaining why and how it would feel. The conversation was really nice. I think it would be better to think about what concerns you about your lips and facial proportions before you go, like I did. The nurses were also very kind and kept smiling while guiding me, so I didn't feel nervous, and the atmosphere was comfortable. It was a very cold day, so it was a bit far, so I lost some energy walking back and forth. Haha. Still, if I ever need another treatment, I'd love to go again. 😄
