It feels surprising how quickly time has passed. It has been a little over three months since I underwent revision contouring surgery at One Percent, which included High-3D cheekbone reduction and a bespoke mini V-line. Along with that, I also had cheekbone reduction, chin surgery, fat removal around the jaw and cheeks, and a pelican procedure involving muscle tightening under the chin.
About three years ago, I had previously undergone three contouring procedures, but the overall effect felt limited. In particular, the side cheekbones still appeared angular and wide, which led me to start looking into revision surgery and visiting multiple clinics. At some places, I was told that my mouth protruded and that double jaw surgery would be necessary. However, the chief surgeon at One Percent explained that double jaw surgery was not essential, and that contouring combined with fat removal and the pelican procedure would already create a noticeable difference. That explanation stood out to me and ultimately led to my decision.
Now that about three months have passed, daily life feels much more comfortable. The areas I was dissatisfied with before feel more organized overall, and my jawline, which used to be less visible, now feels clearer. The side cheekbone area also feels less bothersome than before.
Looking back, I feel that choosing not to proceed with double jaw surgery was the right call for me, as it might have felt unnecessarily overwhelming. Being guided toward only what was necessary, without excessive recommendations, suited me well. I don’t have regrets about the choice and am gradually getting used to how things are now
