My chest was too small, and even when wearing a bra, the upper part of the cup was always empty. Even when I reduced the size, it would gape, and even with padding, the shape looked awkward every time I moved, so the undergarment itself was a source of stress. After breast surgery, the first thing that changed wasn't my clothes, but my bra fit. Before, there was excess space inside the cup and I had to constantly adjust it by hand, but now my breasts fill the cup completely, and the volume naturally rises above the bra. Cleavage forms naturally without having to push my breasts together, so the silhouette when wearing undergarments definitely looks prettier. Whereas before I was busy hiding volume, now choosing undergarments so the size doesn't overflow has become a new concern. For someone whose bra cup was always too large, this is truly a major change.
