Originally, taking photos was my biggest source of stress because of my face shape. I have somewhat prominent cheekbones and a square jaw, and since the lower part of my face also looks long, my photos, both from the front and the side, always came out looking dull and heavy. So, covering my face with my hair or retouching was practically a given whenever I took pictures. At first, I was only considering facial contouring, but after the consultation, I decided to proceed with double jaw surgery as well. I had both cheekbone reduction and square jaw surgery done, and now that it's over, my overall facial proportions feel much more refined. Before, the line from my cheekbones to my chin looked bumpy and angular, but now it feels like it flows smoothly overall! The change in the balance of my lower face, in particular, really transformed my vibe. The line around my mouth and the chin looks naturally connected, and it was fascinating to see that the width of my face didn't stand out as much when viewed from the front. Since it was a major surgery, I was honestly scared at first, but as the swelling went down and I saw my facial lines changing, I found myself constantly looking in the mirror for no reason. The most comfortable thing about taking photos these days is that I don't have to worry about getting the angle right or looking for retouching first like I used to, haha. People around me often tell me that my vibe has softened, and I’m really satisfied just knowing that I worry less about my facial contours than before.
