It's already been three months since the surgery? Time really flies. When I think back to the beginning, it still feels a bit surreal. At that time, I could hardly eat anything solid… I was just managing to have broth or porridge, and chewing was out of the question. Honestly, it was tough because I felt my strength dwindling.
But nowadays, I can eat just about anything. Of course, I'm not at the point of eating without any thought—I'm still being careful—but it's definitely much easier compared to before. Even when I talk, at first, my pronunciation felt awkward to me, and I kept having to repeat myself. Nowadays, I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Sometimes I think, "Wow, I sound pretty natural right now!"
As the swelling gradually goes down and my facial contours start to emerge, I feel like my overall impression has become softer and clearer compared to before. It's not completely settled yet, so I guess I'll have to wait and see a bit longer. Still, considering how far I've come, I have no regrets about the surgery.
