I've been really excited about my new slicked-back hairstyle lately. When I first got my hairline tattooed, it was really red and stressful, but now that part is all covered up, and I love that it’s not visible anymore. Honestly, I think getting a hair transplant is way better than just getting a tattoo…
Thinking about it, it’s been about five months since the surgery. I had it done in September and got 2,320 grafts. Right after the procedure, I was constantly checking myself in the mirror and zooming in, but after about two weeks, I just went back to my normal routine and hardly looked at it anymore. While I wasn’t paying attention, my hair started to fill in quite nicely. I feel like I went through that dark period without even realizing it. The shedding wasn’t too severe either.
Today, I stopped by the clinic and got a laser treatment. I had a consultation while looking at before-and-after photos. I went in to check if anything seemed off, but I really didn’t have any complaints… It felt like I just chatted and left.
Looking at old photos, I can’t help but feel a bit shocked at how empty my hairline and the M-shaped part used to look. I can’t believe I was that sparse… Now, even when the wind blows, I don’t worry about my hairline, and I think the added volume in the front makes my face look a bit smaller. My friends have been telling me that my face looks smaller lately, which makes me feel even better.
The aftercare here has been really good. Since this kind of surgery requires long-term monitoring, I think post-operative care is super important. They pointed out the areas that looked sparse and suggested another follow-up in September. I appreciate how they discuss what to expect going forward. They also check whether the back of my head is growing well or if I have any discomfort. I’ve had consultations with the clinic manager, and the doctor also takes a look.
I chose this place because they were very kind from the moment I made the appointment, and even now, five months later, the tone of the staff remains the same, maintaining that friendly atmosphere. They mentioned that it’s about 70% grown in, and I’m excitedly thinking about how much more will fill in by September.
