I was curious about lipolysis injections, so I looked into it and decided to visit Sang Sang Hospital's Shin Sa branch. Honestly, I'm not really into exercising, and I've never been skinny in my life. I tend to carry weight around my arms and thighs, which has always stressed me out.
While browsing the internet, I saw that this place is famous for its so-called "girl group injections," so I figured I’d just go for a consultation and made an appointment. When I got there, the atmosphere was surprisingly bright, and the staff were friendly, which helped me relax. There was hardly any waiting time, so I didn’t have to sit around for long. I had a consultation and then got the MPL injection right away.
What amazed me was that they showed my fat levels using an InBody and a 3D body scanner, and it really hit me—“Oh, that’s why I’m like this.” It made me feel like I needed to put in more effort. So, I started adjusting my diet a bit, and overall, I felt much lighter.
A week after my first session, I measured my arm circumference, and the noticeably thicker side had shrunk by half an inch. I was genuinely surprised! Seeing the numbers made me feel like, “Oh, something is actually happening.” So, I went back for my second session right away, and again, it was a quick visit with hardly any waiting.
A week after the second session, I checked again, and my right arm went from 11 inches to 10 inches, while my left went from 11 inches to 10.6 inches. Seeing the reduction in numbers made me even more excited. I’ve only had two sessions so far, but I can’t help but look forward to the remaining three.
They also prescribe some medications, including women's probiotics, lipolysis drugs, and appetite suppressants, so it felt like I wasn’t just losing weight but also managing my health and diet at the same time. They advised me to drink plenty of water, aiming for 4 liters a day, and I've been forcing myself to keep that up. I think that might be why my skin has improved, but whether that's just my imagination or not, I'm happy with it!
A lot of people might worry about the pain from the injections, but honestly, it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. The most surprising part was how much it hurt to remove the tape afterward! I hesitated before getting the injections because I thought it might hurt, but that’s something you don’t need to worry about.
Now, I'm about to go for my third session, and I’m honestly really looking forward to it. After I finish all five sessions, I’ll share another update on how things have changed!
