I travel to Korea frequently for business, usually about once a month, and I never had much interest in aesthetic treatments. During my last trip, however, a colleague from a Korean partner company recommended a clinic near Gangnam Station, where I tried a fat-dissolving injection.
It was my first time visiting a Korean aesthetic clinic, and the place felt very clean and well-organized, which left a good first impression. Since I came alone, I hesitated a bit at first, but I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist spoke to me in Japanese, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. There was also a Japanese interpreter, so communication was smooth from start to finish. The process began with an InBody body composition analysis, followed by a consultation.
Both the consultant and the doctor were very friendly, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed. They seemed to understand what I was looking for without much explanation. My first visit was more of a trial, and this time was my second session. Having experienced it again, my previous skepticism about fat-dissolving injections has eased.
I now plan to include this clinic as part of my regular business trips. I already have another appointment scheduled for next month and am thinking about asking what treatments might work well together.
