First of all, I have quite a severe case of a small chest, with a chest circumference of 72 and a bra size of 12, and I even have a slight scoliosis. My thoracic spine is turned a bit to the left, which might be why my right breast has always seemed a bit larger. During the consultation, we had discussed just going with moderate high 310 implants for both sides.
But during the actual surgery, they ended up using left side Sebin high 365 and right side Sebin moderate high 310. I was worried because they said the shapes were different, and until the bandages came off, my mind was racing with all sorts of thoughts about potential asymmetry.
However, when the bandages came off and I looked in the mirror, I was relieved to see that the symmetry was better than I had expected. Before that, I kept thinking about the different models and volumes, which almost gave me a mental breakdown.
Oh, and you'll know once you stay there, but during my time there, I hardly had to do anything myself... I only needed to move when eating or going to the bathroom; otherwise, I just lay there and they took care of everything. From turning the fluorescent lights on and off to helping with the TV and pillows, they even handed me my phone and remote. It was literally just a matter of moving my fingers.
Right before the surgery, they gave me a melon box with nipple patches and Contrabex inside, and I put on the nipple patch right away when I was discharged. They took care of all those details, so I didn’t have to worry about anything.
As for the anesthesia... I have to admit, they did an excellent job. The intubation was silicone, so my throat didn’t hurt, and the dizziness when I woke up subsided faster than I expected. I didn’t spend much time in a daze after waking up from the anesthesia.
After the surgery, the head surgeon came by the room regularly to check on my condition. It wasn’t just nurses coming in and out; having the doctor come to see me made me realize how much more personalized care is possible in a private hospital.
The pain is hard to describe... It felt like a 5kg dog was sitting on my chest while I was lying down. My sternum area felt especially tight, and if I moved my arms even a little, I felt a heavy pain near the collarbone. So as long as I was careful with arm movements, I had no major issues walking or going to the bathroom. I could move around, but I just needed to avoid straining my arms.
