I initially thought lip fillers were meant to make lips look thicker no matter what, but once I actually received the treatment, I felt the effect of shaping and refining the lips was more significant. My lips were thin on the sides and had an unbeautiful lip line. After subtly filling in the deficient areas, the line naturally extends all the way to the corners of my mouth, and lip makeup application has become much easier. I'm satisfied because it feels like I have refined, well-defined lips rather than overly puffed-up lips.
