I've been thinking about lifting treatments for a while, and I finally went for 300 shots of Ultherapy. At first, I thought 300 shots wouldn't make much of a difference, but after doing it, I realized it was quite different...
I'm really not good with pain, so after some consideration, I chose to go with sedation. I lay down to get ready and quickly fell asleep, only to wake up and find the procedure was already over. It went by so fast that I didn't even have time to feel nervous, which was the most comfortable part for me.
During the procedure, the doctor explained that instead of just evenly distributing the shots based on my skin thickness and problem areas, he focused more on the spots that looked like they needed extra attention. Knowing it wasn't just a haphazard process was reassuring.
I took a look in the mirror a little later, and I noticed a slight difference in my jawline and nasolabial folds. It felt more refined? The nasolabial lines appeared less pronounced than before, and I found myself smiling at the mirror for no reason. While there's still some swelling since it was just after the treatment, the overall appearance feels more polished.
The doctor mentioned that the collagen regeneration will enhance the effects in about 2 to 3 months, so I'm actually looking forward to seeing how it develops. Since this was my first lifting experience, I had a lot of concerns, but the 300 shots felt like a light introduction, and I think it was a pretty good choice.
