It's been about three weeks since the surgery, right? Even though my nose tip is still a bit swollen, the reflection in the mirror feels completely different from before, so I'm still getting used to it. I had the procedure done at Mind Plastic Surgery with Dr. Lee Yong-taek, using silicone for the bridge and ear cartilage along with donated rib for the tip.
I originally had a really bulbous and flat nose, which made it look quite heavy at the bottom. During the consultation, the doctor pointed out that the weight was concentrated too much at the bottom, making it appear more blunt. He suggested we work on reducing that look rather than adding more unnecessary elements. He conveyed it in a way that felt more about refining my existing image rather than completely transforming it.
From the side, my nose looks quite elevated, but from the front, the rounded tip makes it hard to notice any drastic changes. Friends didn’t immediately recognize that I had work done; instead, they just asked why I looked so much more polished lately. Everyone said it looks natural, which makes me feel a bit awkward.
Since the swelling hasn't completely gone down yet, I think the tip will settle more, but overall, I'm moving toward the “more refined look” that I wanted rather than a completely different face, and that's what I'm most satisfied with.
