I still have this habit of checking my jawline first whenever I take a photo these days, haha. I don't know if it's because of old habits, but anyway, checking those things feels kind of fun now. It's been over two and a half years since the surgery, and it’s actually fascinating how stable the results have been. At first, I wasn't very convinced even though I went to several places for consultations. I remember feeling more confident because they identified the cause of the sagging as soon as they saw my face and didn't insist on doing everything at once. They also explained in detail why they were doing liposuction and deep cheek fat removal together, so I felt like I could just leave it to them right then and there. Since the surgery, the areas around my mouth and cheeks that used to bother me are less visible, so I've been much less self-conscious of those parts in my daily life. The scars are also hard to spot even up close, so I think that helps me feel at ease. Now, with taking photos and the positive reactions from those around me, I'm just going about my life and feeling pretty good, haha.
