There was quite a bit of swelling right after the surgery, but I could see my waistline had slimmed down slightly, so that was the first thing I noticed. They told me that I would likely have some swelling and bruising, but said it was part of the process of subsiding over time, so I wasn't too worried at the time. Around the day after the surgery, I felt a tingling and throbbing sensation, which was slightly uncomfortable, but not to the point where I couldn't go about my daily life. It has been about six months now, and compared to before, I feel less self-conscious about that area, so I am currently getting used to it and finding it comfortable as I go about my daily life. 😊
