It has been two weeks since my hairline transplant. Because my forehead is wide, I considered forehead reduction surgery, but since my mid-face is also on the longer side, I 고민 a lot and eventually chose to fill in my hairline instead. This was my first time seriously visiting so many clinics. I have a visible M-shape and also wanted to fill in the sides, so the estimated graft count was fairly high. On average, I was quoted around 3,200 grafts, but at Mo&Line Hairline Clinic, the estimate was 3,050 grafts. I visited about five to six clinics, and I think I really clicked with Mo&Line because the consultant explained everything so clearly and helped me fully understand the surgery. At some clinics, even though they offered consultations, I could strongly feel that it was just a way to kill time before the doctor went back into the operating room. Post-operative care was also better than at other clinics, and what really impressed me was how meticulous the director was. Before surgery, the director personally took my before photos. I had never seen a director holding a camera during any other surgery, and at that moment, I felt once again that I had chosen the right clinic. Even after surgery, when checking my progress, the director explained precautions by drawing on a whiteboard, which I found really impressive. I was honestly surprised by how kind and attentive they were. I was very afraid of pain, so I originally preferred a non-incision method, but since the number of grafts was high and that would significantly increase the surgery time, I decided to go with a combined incision and non-incision approach. I thought lying awake for too long would be boring, so I chose potential pain instead. The incision site pain was more manageable than I expected, but since the area was cut and sutured, the top of my head and scalp hurt. For about a week, it felt like someone was constantly pulling my hair, which was quite annoying. After a week, it got much better, probably because the skin had stretched and adjusted. I really hope the little “grass” hairs grow quickly and become nice and fullㅜ
