I had Ultherapy and a skin booster done together, and now that it’s been about three weeks, I wanted to jot down my thoughts.
To start, let me share how I feel at this three-week mark. I used to wake up with significant puffiness in the mornings, but these days, my face isn’t as puffy as it used to be. When I wash my face, I can feel that my skin has more strength overall, as if there’s a bit of elasticity returning. Maybe that’s why, although I haven’t lost weight, my face looks a little less round. When I took a photo and compared my jawline, it looked a bit sharper, which was surprising. The areas that used to sag feel slightly lifted, so while I can’t say my face has shrunk dramatically, the contours are more defined, and that was the best part. This is something that can’t be covered up with makeup.
However, it wasn’t like this from the beginning. On the day of the treatment and for the next two to three days, I felt some warmth and swelling was more noticeable the day after the procedure than on the day itself. So during that time, I couldn’t really gauge any changes in my jawline. But I did notice that my skin condition started to improve gradually from then. I think the skin booster had some influence on that.
About a week in, the swelling had mostly gone down, and I felt that my skin texture became really smooth. It felt hydrated, and perhaps because I had both Ultherapy and the skin booster done together, I felt like my skin was overall more cared for. The areas I had previously been disappointed with were gradually improving, but I didn’t feel a dramatic increase in elasticity until then; it was more like, “My skin looks better.”
As time passed into the third week, it felt like the moment had come when my face started to look slimmer. Although my weight hasn’t changed, the added elasticity makes my face appear a bit more refined. I’ve found that with procedures like thread lifting, the results can be quite noticeable at first, which I found a bit overwhelming. But with this treatment, there’s no awkwardness; it just looks like I’ve lost a little weight, and I liked that aspect. It made me feel that the money spent was worth it.
