It’s been about four months now, so I feel like I’ve gotten used to it a bit and wanted to share.
In the beginning, I kept checking the mirror multiple times a day… but that actually became stressful, so at some point I started trying to look less on purpose.
At first, I was a bit surprised when some white hairs showed up, but after looking into it, I heard it could happen temporarily due to scalp stimulation. Over time, I did notice darker hair coming in again.
For me, the discomfort lasted a bit longer, maybe around two to three months, though I heard it varies from person to person.
When there was a shedding phase in the middle, I did feel a bit concerned, but since I was told it was still maintained underneath, I just waited it out.
Looking at it now, the right side feels like the line has settled more naturally, while the left side still looks a bit sparse. The clinic said it would improve more with time.
The parting area is also still growing slowly, but I was told that area tends to take longer, so I’m not too worried about it.
I’ve been using minoxidil consistently, but I did get some breakouts on one side, so I spaced out the application for a while and am continuing it now.
When I went in for a follow-up, I also received LED care. The explanations were clear and the overall experience felt comfortable.
When I tie my hair, I can definitely feel that the side line looks less empty, so I’m continuing to observe how it progresses.
