I was actually quite stressed about my face shape. My cheekbones are a bit on the wider side, and combined with my square jaw, my facial lines felt stiff in frontal photos. Sometimes I was even told I looked fierce, which made me self-conscious. On top of that, I had excess fat under my chin, which made my face look heavy overall. So, after much consideration, I decided to get jaw reduction, cheekbone reduction, and double chin treatment all done at once. Before the surgery, my side profile felt a bit uneven, but now it feels much more refined overall. Since the cheekbones have naturally receded, the width of my face looks less prominent, and the jawline connects smoothly, completely changing my vibe. The area under my chin was the most fascinating part; before, the line below my chin used to look stuffy even when I tilted my head down just a little. Now, the connection with my neckline is much cleaner, so I feel really satisfied when I look at my profile. I found myself constantly looking in the mirror as the swelling went down, and it’s so much more comfortable these days to take photos without covering my face or worrying as much about angles as I used to. People around me have also been telling me how my face looks different, which makes me feel great.
