🍈 Pre-surgery story, haha.
I’ve always had a pretty flat upper body, standing at 163 cm and weighing 58 kg, with a bust measurement of 78 cm and a cup size of 13. My lower body, however, is more athletic, with a well-rounded butt and thighs, while the top feels like there’s really nothing there… haha.
When I went for my consultation, it started almost immediately with no waiting. I didn't even think about checking other hospitals, so I put down the deposit that same day. The process for choosing implants was the same as everyone else's. We initially discussed the Motiva Demi 380, but it changed to 425 during the surgery. After comparing shapes with the doctor and completing blood tests and an EKG all in one go, the surgery was scheduled just five days later at the earliest available slot.
🍈 Surgery day (written as soon as I woke up)
When I woke up, my first thought was, “Huh? I didn’t get my armpit done, so why does my right armpit hurt so much…?” It felt like that, haha. Maybe it was because they anesthetized my right arm, which made it tingle more. The upper chest felt slightly sore, but I wondered if this was what they meant by no pain… haha. Thanks to the painkillers, it was bearable for now. Since I had 425 cc implants, it didn’t feel overwhelmingly large, just a bit constricting, probably because of the tight bandage. I was really sleepy and couldn’t think of anything else except wanting to keep sleeping… 🥹
🍈 Day 2
Oh, this was the real… most painful time, even worse than surgery day. It felt like muscle soreness, and my upper chest and just below my collarbone felt all swollen and heavy. Getting up from lying down was the hardest moment. “Ugh… Is this the pain I’ve only heard about in reviews?” I thought.
I was discharged the same day and back home, but I had no idea how my chest looked, which was the most frustrating part. At least I knew I could take off the bandages tomorrow, so I kept that thought to stay mentally strong, haha.
🍈 Day 3
Finally, I took off the bandages today and removed the tape that was on my compression bra! But funny enough… both the manager and the doctor thought I was only one week post-op ^^. It was actually day three… haha.
The bandage kept slipping down, and I thought they had wrapped it loosely on purpose to allow for swelling, but that wasn’t the case; it was just my imagination, haha. Anyway, after taking off the bandage, my body felt so much lighter. On the way to the hospital, I was nervous for the entire hour, but on the way back, I felt completely relaxed.
The shape looks a bit pointy, so it seems like they might stick out like bullets, but I actually kind of like it, so I’m satisfied ^.^
🍈 Around two weeks in
During the days in between, there wasn’t much to say… no major pain at all. I was able to go about my daily life almost as usual, although I couldn’t hold my baby, which was unavoidable. I think that made the tight feeling last a bit longer. I usually sleep on my side, so not being able to do that was the most annoying part…
I just jotted down notes sporadically, so it’s not a well-organized review, haha. But just having pretty breasts on my once-flat upper body makes this level of pain and discomfort feel manageable.
As for the hospital, I understand why everyone praises them. They are kind, explain things well, and their manners are great. I didn’t feel the need to elaborate, so I’ll keep it short. I just want to say a big thank you to Dr. Kim Joo-won and Dr. Tae Ja-yun, who handled the anesthesia; they both worked really hard.
