I had double eyelid surgery with natural adhesion and medial canthoplasty of 1mm at the same time.
From the beginning, I didn't decide to have medial canthoplasty, but during the consultation, the director said it would look prettier if I did it just slightly, so I ended up doing it haha
Right after surgery, when I looked in the mirror, I had that feeling of 'Huh? Is this really me? Why is it so swollen?'
Also, I tend to not reduce swelling well naturally, so I was even more worried.
But after about 2 weeks, it suddenly subsided, and around a month later, people couldn't really tell I had just had surgery, so it became quite natural.
It wasn't until about 3 months passed that I thought it looked completely like my real eyes.
Even though I only had 1mm of medial canthoplasty, my eyes looked much fresher and bigger than expected,
so I thought 'Ah, that's why they suggested it' haha
The eyelid line and overall appearance improved naturally without looking overdone, so I'm really pleased with it.
