These days, I don't feel as conscious about applying a thin layer of makeup around my lips. Before, that area was always a problem... I'd break out repeatedly, and the remaining marks would make it look dark, which made it look unsightly. So I'd apply a thick layer of foundation, which would only make it more frustrating. It was an endless cycle. The area around my lips is so sensitive that I was afraid to try anything, but I switched to stem cell treatment. It felt less daunting because it didn't feel like it was irritating the surface, but rather calming me from the inside out. It barely felt irritated at all. After the treatment, my skin around the lips felt firmer, and the marks that were previously noticeable were less noticeable. My overall mood has brightened. I used to hate the way my lips made me look, but now that it's gone, I feel much more comfortable. Now, I don't have to apply thick makeup to cover my mouth, so I spend less time getting ready, and I feel a sense of relief. Haha.
