I've never touched my eyes before, and I don't really like a style that shows obvious surgery, so I was just hoping my eyes would look a bit bigger naturally without that obvious "Oh, you had work done?" feeling.
But one day, my friend's eyes suddenly became so beautiful. And interestingly, there was no obvious sign of surgery—it looked completely natural.
It turned out she had gotten both upper and lower eyelid surgery at that hospital…So I stopped looking at other hospitals and went straight there. Since it's a hospital famous for eye surgery, I felt more reassured.
When I first looked in the mirror after surgery, I honestly had a slight panic.
Because of the swelling, the two eyes seemed mismatched, like they were uneven. I thought, "Is it just me like this...?" and got worried ㅠㅠ
But the hospital said from the start that it could look that way until the swelling goes down, and told me to wait about 4 weeks.
So I just cleared my mind and waited about a month.
Around the 4-week mark, the swelling and redness had almost completely subsided,
and from that point on, both eyes matched up very naturally?
I realized all my initial worries were unnecessary.
Now, about a month and a week after surgery,
people around me often say things like "Why do your eyes look so refreshed?" "Your expression is so much clearer now"
Especially when I don't have makeup on, the difference is really noticeable, so the fact that my eyes look defined even without makeup is the best part... I think that's where my satisfaction comes from the most.
