I was unhappy with how flat my face looked, so I first chose contouring surgery. Looking back, that decision didn’t solve my concerns at all. After the surgery, my lower face actually looked wider, and my profile felt even flatter than before, which caused a lot of stress.
After doing more research, I decided on revision surgery with double jaw surgery. I found the hospital after seeing the doctor on TV and searching online. In person, the doctor felt just as calm and approachable. What stood out was that every consultation took time, and my concerns were carefully reflected in the surgical plan.
I liked that the approach focused on using my own bone rather than artificial materials, and that the goal was natural balance rather than excessive changes. Post-surgery care was well organized, and the coordinator explained everything clearly, which helped a lot.
Before the revision, my jaw still looked protruded and my midface appeared hollow. Now, my face feels much more three-dimensional.
If I ever reconsider facial bone surgery again, this is the place I would return to first.
