In the past, I think the first thing I used to check after taking a photo was my jawline. My cheekbones tend to be a bit prominent on the sides, and because my lower face felt heavy, my overall facial contour didn't look clean. I was especially stressed about the fat under my chin because it felt like it stayed the same even after losing weight. So, covering it up and tidying it up with retouching every time I took a picture became almost a habit. After much deliberation, I decided to go ahead with double jaw surgery, cheekbone reduction, and double chin treatment all at once. Now, my facial proportions feel much more refined. If the line from my cheekbones to my chin used to be bumpy, now it feels like it flows smoothly overall. The cheekbone area has been naturally refined, and the balance between my mouth and chin looks just right, so my vibe has changed quite a bit. I am particularly satisfied with the area under my chin; it feels less heavy than before, and the line follows my neckline cleanly, so I find myself constantly looking at my profile whenever I see it. Since it was major surgery, I was incredibly worried at first, but seeing my facial lines change as the swelling went down made me wish I had done it sooner. These days, the most comfortable thing is that I no longer look at candid photos without immediately reaching for Photoshop like I used to.
