I kept noticing that when I woke up, one eye would develop overlapping folds. The line never looked clean, and even after having incisional ptosis correction several times before, my eyes still looked somewhat sleepy. On top of that, the size of each eye felt different when I opened them, which kept bothering me.
The clinic itself was very clean, and the consultation manager was extremely kind, which helped a lot when making my decision. The doctor was also attentive and quickly understood what felt uncomfortable to me. Since I’d had multiple incisional procedures before, I assumed another incision would be suggested, but that wasn’t necessarily the case. I ended up proceeding with non-incisional ptosis correction, and the fact that it was done under sleep anesthesia felt reassuring.
Before the procedure, I was told that differences in eyelid strength could still exist, so that part made sense to me. Since the fold size itself wasn’t the main issue, having the imbalance feel more controlled afterward eased some of the stress I had.
