I'm really scared of the dentist… This time, I had to go because one of my molars just came out completely. After thinking about it for a few days, I ended up searching for reviews and came to this place.
As soon as I walked in, I heard that familiar sound of dental equipment, and my heart sank… I thought, "Oh no, this is going to be a big deal." I jokingly told the dentist, "You have to save me..."
We decided to go ahead with the extraction, and while I was lying there waiting, I felt a bit more at ease because both the dentist and the nurse spoke in such calm and relaxed tones. Whenever I said I was in pain, they immediately gave me more anesthesia, and they kept explaining what they were doing, which I really appreciated. It took over an hour, but it felt like they were focused solely on me, which made it less scary.
Today, they said the bone graft went well, and for the implant, they assured me it would hurt less, so I kept thinking, "Really…?" When I got home, I was nervous that once the anesthesia wore off, it would hurt a lot, but surprisingly, I thought, "Oh..? Is that all?" which caught me a bit off guard.
Anyway, I was totally in panic mode today, but I made it through somehow. Thank you so much, doctor, and when I come in for the implant… please… make it as painless as possible.
