I'll start by sharing my experience at Waterbomb. This time, honestly, it felt completely different compared to previous years. I’ve been going every year without fail, but I’ve never had this much fun or felt this confident. I kept laughing and taking pictures with my friends.
Honestly, this was my first Waterbomb after my breast surgery, which probably made it even more special. After over two years of just thinking about it, I had a friend who had surgery at a clinic, and seeing her made me think, “I should do it too.” That's when I started seriously looking into it.
Since I work in a hospital, I tend to be a bit more critical about things. I consulted at quite a few places, visiting a total of four clinics. Among them, the one I chose focused mainly on breast surgeries, had a female breast surgeon, and an anesthesiologist on staff. They only book three surgeries a day, and that clinic stood out to me. When they mentioned a lifetime warranty on aftercare, I thought, “This is the place.”
The waiting time was also significantly different. At other clinics, even with an appointment on weekdays, I had to sit for at least an hour, which was exhausting. But at this clinic, I went in for a consultation right away, which felt refreshing and saved me time.
However, what I appreciated even more than the consultation was the post-surgery care. Whenever I went for follow-ups, there was almost no waiting. Even if I went once a week, the doctor would personally check my condition and explain things like, “You’re doing well; let’s try this next.” That reassurance made me feel at ease, and I didn’t mind going at all.
Anyway, this year’s Waterbomb felt like I really prepared for it. The weather was hot, the water was refreshing, and I was excited too. It was a perfect combination. As someone who got lucky at the clinic, I had a wonderful time! ❤️🍈
