I used to keep my bangs down all the time and it felt a bit stuffy, so I started looking into options and ended up going through with this. My forehead itself isn’t that wide, but the M-shaped area bothered me, so I focused more on adjusting the line rather than reducing the size.
I was thinking of checking a few places, but ended up deciding at the first one I visited. I care more about a natural look, and while listening to the explanation, it just felt right. They talked more about creating a soft, baby-hair style rather than a sharp, defined line, which I preferred. They did show a 3D simulation, but honestly I relied more on before-and-after photos when deciding.
On the day, I was really nervous… I get scared easily and tend to bleed more, so that probably made it worse. The IV and the time spent lying down for extraction felt quite long, and holding that position wasn’t easy. We took a short break in the middle and then continued, and once the anesthesia kicked in, I didn’t really feel pain during the procedure. I did have a bit more bleeding though.
After it was done, it just felt slightly tight, so I managed it with what the clinic provided.
The next day when I went for shampoo… I personally felt some throbbing. Others said they were fine, but for me, it took about a week before washing felt comfortable. Now it’s been almost three weeks, so the discomfort is mostly gone, and the exfoliation is done as well.
At this point, it feels like I’m just waiting to see how everything settles over time. I heard there can be a shedding phase in between, so I’m just planning to watch it for now.
The clinic atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff were gentle in their approach, which I liked. I’m hoping it settles well like this. ^^
