It's been about seven months since my surgery. I had jawline contouring and a square jaw reduction at 1Percent. My jaw used to be really prominent, making my whole face look bigger and more square, which always bothered me when I looked in the mirror. But even with just the jawline work, my features have definitely softened, and I'm really happy with the results.
At first, I was seriously debating whether to get cheekbone surgery as well during my consultation, but the thought of that was a bit intimidating. So I decided to go ahead with just the jawline reduction first, and looking back, I think it was the right choice. Now that my jawline is slimmer, my cheekbones actually seem to fit my face better than before. So I’m not as worried about them anymore.
When I meet up with people, they all say my face looks great and that my expression has become much softer, and they even ask if I’ve lost weight. It’s not that I’ve lost any, but hearing that makes me feel good. The positive reactions from everyone have made me even more satisfied.
If I decide to get cheekbone surgery in the future, I think I’d probably go back to 1Percent. I’m just so happy with the results from the jawline procedure. Anyway, thank you to the doctor!
