I just realized it's been exactly 1 year since my surgery lol Time, what is it? Why does it go by so fast honestly...
When I first had my consultation, I listened to all sorts of explanations and decided on Mentor Xtra for the implant. Since they said it was good, I just went ahead with that specific choice.
The funny thing about my post-op review is that everything else was fine, but when I got up from bed that's when it was the most intense lol Other than that, it was more bearable than I expected. About a week? After that passed, I just walked around normally, showered, and for everyday routines like that, I didn't feel any major inconvenience.
I had the incision done on the underside, and with the scar, as long as I'm wearing underwear it's not really visible... The color has also faded a lot by now, so unless you're really looking closely, you can't see it well. Even I only notice it sometimes when I deliberately look down like "oh right, it's there" lol
And this is something I really felt after experiencing it firsthand, but everyone says time is the answer when it comes to breast surgery. After a year has passed, I understand why people say that... There's no need to get stressed and anxious just by looking at how it looks in the beginning. At first, you notice all sorts of things, but as time goes on, you just think "oh, it's going like this~" lol
