My lips weren't actually that thin. So I was wondering if I should really do anything, but when I looked closely in the mirror, I could see some wrinkles, a slight asymmetry, and especially when my lips were dry, the lines weren't very clear, which really bothered me. The overall shape was fine, but the details felt a bit lacking. So, I got it done, hoping for a more refined texture and lines, rather than a major change. The first thing I noticed after getting it done was that the inside of my lips felt more evenly filled in. It wasn't overly plump; it felt like the original shape was preserved, with just the arch and corners of my lips being refined. That made a subtle difference. Since my wrinkles are less prominent, applying lip color is much easier. Before, dead skin cells would stand out, but now the surface looks smoother, so even a rough application looks great. My upper lip line is also more defined, so I'm really enjoying wearing lip makeup. And the funny thing is, my friends don't ask me where I got it done, but they just say it makes me look different. It's a subtle, refined look, and that's what I like the most. It's not like I originally had no volume at all, so I thought I'd just trim it a little, but my lips feel like they've been taken care of, so I find myself looking in the mirror more often... They also look moist.
