I tried taking diet medication for eight weeks. It feels a bit embarrassing to write this out, but I wanted to leave a record. My weight went from 68 kg down to 57 kg. Over the past couple of years, I had gained weight quickly, likely due to work stress, and it just wouldn’t come off, so being back in the 50s felt like a big relief.
I also started wearing clothes again that I had already given up on, which made me happier than I expected. Honestly, I don’t think I could have done this on my own.
At the clinic, they emphasized two main points: always eat three meals a day, and choose a meal plan that can realistically be continued for two months. They suggested a basic structure for meals, and whenever I wasn’t sure about something, I could ask through the reserved messaging line and get a clear response. Based on that, I planned my meals weekly.
There were definitely tough moments, but having a set menu was actually convenient in some ways. When it felt hard to keep going, knowing that I had support from the clinic made it feel less lonely, which helped me stay consistent.
I decided to try this because Korea is well known for diet programs, and the results turned out better than I expected. I’ll be visiting Korea again, and I’m hoping to check things like an InBody scan next time.
