I decided to get the procedure because my upper lip looked less full compared to my lower lip. During the consultation, the design was adjusted to suit my facial features, which I appreciated. The pain was much less than I expected. At first, there was only some redness, but as time passed, mild bruising started to appear. Since this was my first lip filler, I plan to wait until the swelling and bruising fully settle before deciding on any additional treatment.
