I've decided to share my experience, which is entirely based on my own money and personal visits.
🍈 Information first 🍈
- Original breasts: Slightly asymmetrical
- Breast dimensions: Left 13cm / Right 13.5cm
- Chest circumference: 75cm
- Implant type: Mentor Smooth
- Volume: 350cc on both sides
- Also had fat removal done
Initially, I checked out about 5 to 6 clinics. The main reason I chose this one was that I felt a sense of trust right from the post-operative care explanation. They mentioned various management techniques like laser treatments and capsules, and when I compared it to other clinics, it felt much more systematic.
The director has a solid background specializing in breast procedures at well-known clinics, which was a big plus. During the consultation, they provided clear explanations and were very kind.
When it came to choosing the implants, they considered my chest structure and breast condition, guiding me to options within a reasonable price range without any pressure to choose something expensive. They set both sides to 350cc and assured me of lifetime aftercare in case of any complications, which was reassuring.
There was no separate coordinator; a dedicated breast specialist managed everything, which made the process feel direct and efficient. I appreciated the ability to check the CCTV and having an anesthesiologist on-site was another important factor. The director personally selected items like nipple patches, supportive bras, and scar ointments, providing them for free, so there was no pressure to buy extra items. The emergency call service and 24-hour inpatient facilities also gave me peace of mind.

🍈 Surgery Day (Day 1) 🍈
The day's flow was roughly:
Arrival → Explanation of precautions by the specialist → Ultrasound and design by the director → Surgery → Recovery room.
I was surprised that the atmosphere in the operating room was less intimidating than I expected. It wasn’t cold and stark; the bed was warm, and the overall vibe was calming, which eased my anxiety.
All staff—doctor, anesthesiologist, nurses, and the specialist—were women, which made me feel more comfortable. When I woke up, I was in the recovery room. Since I tend to take longer to recover, the nurses kept checking on me, bringing candy and water with a straw. After the surgery, the director came in to check on me again.
I was fortunate to have a pain management plan set up, so right after the surgery, I only felt mild discomfort. After taking painkillers, I felt almost no pain once I got home. A friend who had surgery at another clinic mentioned that less pain could be due to good surgical technique, and it seems like both the anesthesiologist and director did an excellent job.
Since my home was nearby, I was discharged immediately, but for those coming from far away, staying overnight might be a good option. The inpatient room lived up to its reputation and felt more like a hotel, so the facilities were great.
And seriously, make sure to get a triangular pillow beforehand… My back complained more than my chest did, haha. I had to sleep straight, which made my back hurt and affected my sleep.

🍈 Days 2-3 🍈
At this point, the pain wasn’t unbearable. It felt like a tingling and tightness inside my chest, but I was eating well and started taking walks around my neighborhood by Day 2.
On Day 3, I went back to the clinic to have my bandages removed and get checked by the director. Just removing the bandages significantly relieved the tightness and made breathing easier.
The specialist from the clinic checked in almost daily via text or call, and whenever I had questions on KakaoTalk, she responded quickly and explained everything in detail, which was incredibly comforting. There was no room for unnecessary anxiety.

🍈 Days 4-5 🍈
Moving my arms and putting on and taking off clothes had definitely become smoother than before, but I felt it was still too early to wash my hair by myself, so I went to a salon instead.
Each day, I noticed the pain decreasing steadily, and by Day 4, I was almost pain-free, with just a slight stiffness remaining.

🍈 Days 6-7 + Week 2 🍈
By Day 6, moving around felt much easier, and I hardly had any pain left.
On the seventh day, I returned to the clinic for a chest pack and post-operative care, and the director checked on my progress. By then, I was already very pleased with the shape and feel, and I was excited to see how they would settle in over time. I was told it could take a month for the swelling to fully subside, so I’m just waiting for that month to pass…
After the first week, entering the second week made life significantly easier. I was almost back to my regular routine. Previously, even lying flat was a bit uncomfortable, but by the second week, I could sleep in any position, and I was able to shower and wash my hair without any help.
Sensation returned much more than in the first week; I could feel well when touching, and the texture was gradually becoming softer, making me curious about how things would feel in a month…🥺
The biggest change came in the second week when I finally removed the upper band. Just that one action made such a difference in comfort! While wearing it, the tightness and pressure were stressful, but removing it instantly boosted my happiness.
Overall, I felt like if I had to choose again, I would still go to this clinic.
